SGR 15" Sub Woofer

I bought this item a couple of years ago from SNA, it was for a project that never eventuated, now due to ill health it will never get used.

I previously listed it for sale and somebody from SNA brought to my attention that they thought there was an existing problem with the built in amp in this unit, as I had not tried it, I had no way of knowing.

However, I contacted Stuart at SGR and he sent me the correct packing for the amp, it was returned to the SGR Factory and the problem was corrected and returned to me. Repairs and each way postage were not cheap.

All is now working exactly as it should.

The following information has been collated from a number of posts on SNA;

SGR 15” subwoofer, corner design with matt black texture finish.
 

This unit can be placed anywhere, laid flat on the floor angled upwards or vertical stood on end.

Please note the dimensions: height: 1.10mtr, depth from front face to back corner: 590mm, front face width: 480mm, this is not a small sub woofer. It is not a light weight and due to my health I would not be able to assist with packing or lifting.

X-over slope either 12 or 24dB. Adjustable from 25Hz to 125Hz

Fixed 80Hz HP output

Phase dial from 0-180

Phase invert switch

Balanced or single ended inputs

The XO works like this, use one for a 12dB, so you set crossover one to whatever frequency you want to low pass at, then set the second one all the way to 125Hz or use both set to the same point for a 24dB slope

Back in the day there were a couple of these for sale on SNA asking $K4-5.

Posts on SNA refer to output down to 14Hz.
