Further Information

Hi All,

Bought these in to replace my Magnat speakers, but they didn't sell, so wife wants one or the other gone.  Only just bought a couple of months back from the original owner.  My wife wants these gone more of the pair as she doesn't want stands, wants speakers to sit on the TV Cabinet - so am reluctantly listing these.

I only have the box for the speakers and not the stands, so I could ship the speakers, but the stands would have to go via Pack and Send - or happy to work out something with potential buyer.

They are in beautiful condition - they look and sound amazing.

At the end of any evaluation, I always ask myself the same question—am I sorry to see this gear leave? The Model 1.5 was so irresistible on a multitude of levels—concept, design, cost, and sound—I concluded that I not only didn’t want it to leave but also to call it anything other than a TAS Product of the Year would be an injustice. And I’m not done yet.

In the Venere 1.5, Sonus Faber has produced a natural-, involving-, detailed-, and dynamic-sounding loudspeaker. The Venere shares some of the magic of the more expensive Sonus Faber speakers I've heard in various locations over the years. As such, it's a testament to the ability of creative speaker designers to trickle technology down from the highest of the high end to affordable prices. Without a doubt, it's the most visually attractive bookshelf speaker I've reviewed, and its appearance is likely to blend in with a variety of décors, as well as earn high approval from spouses.
