Very wide soundstage and extremely natural sounding vocals. Jazz is sublime through these speakers.
These are in excellent condition, one small bruise on one corner being one of only a few visible imperfections. Even their undersides are unmarked.
All drivers and crossover original. Cabinets have been cleaned and Restor-a-Finish applied.
Named "human voice" in Italian, La Voce series speaker system, from 1987, was designed in pursuit of more natural sound, with emphasis on glossy vocals and classical realism, and only released to the Japanese domestic market.

- 2.5 cm dome type tweeter, whose diaphragm is made of biocellulose, a fiber produced by a bacterium called Acetobacter. It is very thin (more than 10 microns). It is light but has a very thin fiber structure of about 1/1000 of paper. It has a sound propagation speed of about 3 times that of paper. It has the same sound velocity as aluminum. It also has a resonance sharpness of about 24, which is about 1/10 of the resonance sharpness of aluminum. Almost equivalent to that of paper.
