This is an excellent dac/pre. This is the earlier version, the later EX version upped the DSD capability. The pre is analogue.
I bought this on SNA used about 5 years ago as a stop gap to feed some small actives when I moved interstate and was in temporary accomodation. I liked it so much I kept it in my setup when I moved into a permanent home. I’ve only used it balanced for analogue and a Raspberry Pi for digital.
There are some great reviews online that also explain some of the filtering available for the digital inputs.
Comes with remote and iFi power supply. This is a battery powered unit that continuously recharges. I updated the two batteries a few years ago. A simple process but probably not required for a few years. I have included a spare from the original set which should still recharge.
