It’s with a heavy heart that I offer up my Soulines Kubrick DCX turntable fitted with the top of the range and now unobtanium Jelco 950S arm.
I bought this about six years ago from another SNA member who at the time was a Soulines dealer. This was his personal table. It didn’t have an arm so I spent up big on the Jelco 950S. Jelco’s since ceased producing arms so this was their final top of the range swan song.
The Kubrick comes with the packaging, a quality phono cable, unused Jelco headshell and other bits and pieces the Jelco came with, adaptor plates for the Kubrick to fit Rega and VPI arms (not sure why you’d bother given the arm it’s got), Soulines cartridge protractor and a Jelco cartridge scale.
There are numerous positive reviews of the Kubrick available on a quick google search.
Whilst I do have the packaging I’d prefer local pick up. It’s been a long time since I packed a turntable or even looked at the packaging and i’m not 100 percent trusting of courier services.
I never really intended selling the Kubrick but as can happen something came along that was just too good to refuse. I don’t have the space for two decks.
It’s not fitted with a cart so whilst I can demonstrate it spinning I can’t actually demonstrate it playing a disc.
Check the reviews and retails prices. You’ll see that it’s a terrific deck and more than competitive with anything around the ten grand mark.
