Here's our chance to get a world class DHT preamplifer for a reasonable price. This Cabernet is a Dual model so is actually 2 seperate preamplifier circuits with individual volume controls. One uses 6SN7 and 300B whilst the other circuit uses 6N6P. I didnt buy it for its dual purpose function and used the 6SN7 / 300B circuit except for trying the 6N6P circuit out of curiosity.

This one has had the following upgrades:

- input selector switch upgraded to an Elma gold plated copper sealed switch and it has also had the

- filament circuits replaced with DHT filament regulators

- 300B sockets replaced with Teflon and Beryllium Copper versions (handmade in Italy)

This work was completed by Mick at Supratek. It is also up to date with Suprateks latest circuit version.

Ive had many preamps and this one is my joint favourite with the other being a Shindo Masseto. If your system needs a does of DHT magic this will deliver. Perhaps you want to biamp.....I'm only selling as I only have one source now and my DAC is DHT with vol control.
