Synergistic Research Black Box

Up for sale, a Synergistic Research Black Box. 

I bought 2 of these, I think 1 in an room the size of my listening space is plenty, especially when you have any other treatments.

I believe it uses a spiral shaped internal baffle coated in UEF material. It has an effect on bass definition but also has an effect higher up into the frequency range as well. It works especially well with the SR Atmosphere and FEQ devices (as does anything with UEF treatment). Another SR device to infuriate sceptics.

RRP is $2155 USD which after customs and GST works out to be about $3300 + GST.

I still have the original box  and it will be well packaged for transit. Freight inside AUS is included in the price.

For those of a sceptical nature, I took the following measurements in my listening room using a calibrated microphone. I left the room during the measurements and everything was the same between the measurements (mic position, volume etc). The only difference was with the Blackbox out of the listening room and in the room.  As you'll note, my room is pretty bad but the Blackbox made an noticeable change. FR was also slightly smoother and distortion was also lowered when the Blackbox was in the room.
