Further Information: These are a rare pair of T&A Delta 50B speakers, modelled on the legendary and iconic Sonab OA range of omni-directional speakers. The T&As follow the same design philosophy, with an upward facing 6.5" bass driver and directed 4" mid and 2 x 2" tweeters. There is also a down firing bass port for improved bass response and a tone dial to control the high frequencies.
The design is very effective as the 3 dimensionality of the sound that is produced is uncanny - especially considering they are small speakers that sit on the ground.
The cabinets are in good condition with just a couple of marks. The metal grilles that sit on top are structurally fine, though one has a little rust.
These were a high end design when released in 1988, retailing for 1200DM in Germany. The smaller 30B was $595 in Australia.
I've never seen another pair in Australia.
