Tannoy DC10T Piano Black Speakers

These are in project state currently as I got halfway rebuilding the crossovers and then upgraded to new speakers and never looked back. 

One still as is and one disassembled so I could measure all crossover components and order in parts to upgrade them... while I was waiting on parts my dream speakers came up for sale and the rest is history.

Been collecting dust for 2 years now and don't have the time or want to finish them as I have no use for them after anyways.

Passing on to someone who wants an absolute bargain and has the time to finish building crossover upgrade and put them back together (all components included to finish them).

All the upgraded Mundorf EVO oil caps and resistor components were ordered new from the UK and custom made dual stack acrylic boards with stainless fittings to mount in factory location using factory holes. The idea was to re-use the original coils and combine the 2 OEM boards into a double decker stacked board with the upgraded components and put them back together.

Includes upgraded elastomer isolation feet as well.

Pickup in Tasmania if you are local or can ship to mainland as I have all original boxes still for shipping - this will be on top and depending on location should be somewhere between $150-$250 for both boxes. The original grills are in the box as well, never used them.

These were $12k new around 7 years ago and excellent speakers with far better bass response than most of the Tannoy's of this era. The fyne audio replacement for these is the F703 which are $24k now!

As someone else commented on Tannoy's in another post - these are not your average pipe and slipper jazz Tannoy's, these are a much more modern speaker with far more bass response than the Cheviot or Arden's.
