Up for sale is something you won't see every day: a Technics SL-1210GAE Limited Edition turntable.
Serial Number 5xx of only 1210 produced. I believe only 40 of these made their way to Australia in total, so this is quite a rare item.
Handmade in Japan prior to Technics moving all turntable manufacturing to Malaysia.
I originally purchased the unit with a view to building a system around it. This is unlikely to happen in the near future so I am reluctantly putting it up for sale.
Unit was unpacked & set up to check cosmetic and functional condition, then repacked and placed into storage. Only a handful of records were played.
I have included three generic pictures of an unpacked unit for reference, these are not pictures of the actual unit for sale (and no cartridge is included).
Local pickup preferred however will consider shipping at buyer's cost & risk.
