My take: This little device had a profound effect on my system. I was using the multiple Nordost QV1 and QK2 devices prior to this and it managed to combine the effects of both and surpass them in one device. Regarding as a filter is a bit misleading as it clearly affects system performance in other ways than you'd expect a simple filter to work. Perhaps it's to do with the claim that it reduces  "phase"  distortion of  the AC waveform? I have some very good power filtering in my system already but this unit seems to add a further level of depth to the background as well as fleshing out the lower registers and bringing a relaxed clarity to the treble region.

"Listening to the compilation CD of the series “The Complete Works of Johann Sebastian Bach on 160 CDs” (Hänssler Edition) turned out to be great. On track 5 a violinist tries very hard. This part always sounded a bit sharp. It actually stayed that way. But now it was clear that this was the natural sharpness of the instrument and not the annoying added sharpness of the audio system. It was much more like a real violin with a character all its own; in this case of the “spicy” kind. What a difference in naturalness! On the CD with the Goldberg Variations of Bach by Pierre Hantai I heard a more pleasant, more characteristic and specific harpsichord. Beautiful! In addition, fast walks were easier to follow. Who said that accuracy and a warm musical sound can't go together?

I could fill many pages with listening experiences, but the bottom line is this: when connected in the best place, the Quantum Noise Resonator from Telos is a first-class parallel filter. Perhaps most remarkable is that there is no disadvantage to use. This device simply makes the music sound more refined and natural on a high-quality system. Opinions may differ about the size of the effect; that it works and that no trouble is introduced seems to me beyond dispute. So don't be misled by the modest dimensions and the hefty asking price of the device: this is a very relevant product for the target group of serious audiophiles with a top system. Perhaps even an important product."

I've tried to show any imperfections as clearly as possible. There are some small imperfections on the top acrylic as well as one more noticeable scratch .There is also a slight graze in the powdercoat on one side of the unit and minor signs of use.
