Frank Sinatra “The Voice Of Frank Sinatra” 1948 10” Vinyl LP US Pressing.
Very Rare, especially in this condition. This LP has the distinction of being the very first 10” LP record.
Cover = VG+ the real jewel of this copy is the cover. Despite its age, there is no writing or significant marks on the cover. Aside from a small split to each of the 3 edges, given the light weight paper used at the time, it is in remarkable condition. The print is crisp and clear and the cover is otherwise solid and intact, as pictured.
Vinyl = G+ vinyl shows obvious numerous visible marks and scratches, but nothing too deep. Plays through with obvious background noise throughout, but no skips on my playback, and the recording still comes through loud and clear. Labels on both sides are incredibly crisp and clean, colour and print are beautiful, with no writing or significant spindle marks, as pictured.
I have taken plenty of pictures to try and show the condition as best as possible.
From my personal collection. Always carefully handled and stored in protective sleeve.
Price includes postage with tracking anywhere in Australia, and SNA fees.

"LONG PLAYING MICROGROOVE" in one line with the "Lp" logo between "playing" and "microgroove". Asterix and dagger symbols are present to denote trademark notices. Release is housed in pink jacket.
This is considered to be the very first 10" LP record. Released in 1948 using existing material that was originally issued as a 4-78rpm album in March 4, 1946 (catalog no. C-112).
This 10" LP and the 12" LP Concerto In E Minor For Violin And Orchestra Op. 64 were both printed for the (soon to be announced) "Long Play LPs" for the Columbia catalog, and is considered the first (modern) 10 inch LP ever. Columbia Records unveiled both of these at a press conference in the Waldorf Astoria in June 1948.
