For sale Is a Thorens TD 160 that I purchased on Stereonet in 2014.
Herbie’s mat is the only addition I’ve made since I got it. I had great ambitions of upgrading this turntable to use a DC motor, but I never got around to it. This turntable is as I purchased it. I’ve listened to about another 150 hours of music on the cartridge.
It’s time for this to go to a new home.
Comes with a spare TD-10 tone arm.
Modifications made by Qwerter:
Chassis Damping with Dynamat Extreme (similar to the mod on picture)
Rega RB250 arm fitted
Aurealis phono cables wired to the arm (http://www.aurealisaudio.com.au/phono-cables/)
Replaced power cord
Reinforced MDF base is installed.
Cover has the usual cracks on the side.
