Selling my Tron Convergence Signature MM, Graham Tricker’s reference‑grade moving‑magnet phono stage. This is the Signature version — upgraded power supply, premium internal components, and the same circuit topology found in Tron’s higher‑end models.
If you know Tron, you know the deal: hand‑built in the UK, point‑to‑point wiring, zero‑feedback design, and a reputation for effortless musicality rather than hi‑fi fireworks. The Signature MM is extremely quiet, tonally natural, and has superb micro‑dynamics. Works brilliantly with high‑end MM cartridges or with an external SUT (I use it with a ZYX, Benz Wood via an EAR MC4).
Only selling because I am looking at a phono stage that is a little better (more inputs ) but retails for 6 times what I am selling my phono for.
When I bought this I compared it to a few phono stages including Whest and found this to be a more musical phono.
The phono also has a ground lift if needed (I didn't use it).

These rarely ever come up for sale and the MC version has been reviewed by Stereophile with a very positive review.
I don't have the original box and I am the second owner. I can take the amp to Pack and Send if required but shipping would be at the buyers risk and cost so I would recommend insurance.
I spent a bit of time tube rolling and have some very nice NOS tubes which would have no more than 250 hours on them as I mainly use my digital system.

The output stage has a low impedance high current output, which enables it to be used with any pre-amp or main amplifier, whether valve or transistor, or even a transformer type volume control (TVC).
The Convergence Phono is also available in a Signature version. The "Signature" version has selected components fitted, plus a few other improvements incorporated that Graham found to improve the audio fidelity even further.
