Up for sale is my Italian beauty.
The Unico Primo is a Unison Research's hybrid valve / class A integrated amplifier. Made in Italy, with plenty of power and kick that you would expect from a Class A MOSFET output and then the fun and sweetness of a Class A Valve input stage which allows you to play with different tubes for different sounds. Check out how this beauty is built, but maybe this review can tell it's story better than I can.
It is still a current model with Unison Research's phono stage installed. So brand new, it retails for $3,499. I have swapped out the original tube for this Mullard 12AX7, but I still have the original valve for you to try too. Nb. I do have the remote, but on my first and only attempt, it didn't seem to work. Recently serviced by Kimil Electronics in Sydney (he is the Unison Research specialist in Australia)
This is a regretful sale, but this amp is a little too expensive for my setup and budget, and it needs a good audiophile home.
