Up for sale is a Walker CJ55 turntable from the early 80’s, combined with a Grace G-707 tonearm and Pickering XV-15/E625 cartridge. The tonearm cable is the Ultimate Cables Silver Series C4.
I am the second owner of the turntable, having purchased it from another StereoNet member in 2021. It is in excellent condition all round. The dustcover is in outstanding condition considering age.
The tonearm and cartridge are a great match. I purchased the cartridge off eBay in 2022, so I cannot give any indication as to the hours on the stylus, but from my listening it is still in great condition. Replacement styli are readily available.
A separate armboard is also included, pre-cut with Linn mount.
The turntable bearing and spindle have been cleaned and polished, and new oil has been applied. Speed has been checked and is spot on.
Local pickup is preferred, but I do have the original boxes so the turntable can be safely packed if required.
