Western Electric 300B Valves/Tubes

I probably do not need 7 pairs of 300b, including 3 pairs of Western Electric 300B…

So it’s now time to sell one pair of WE300B. These were manufactured in 2006.

Full transparency, these are not perfect but sound extremely good nonetheless. The pins on one tube are loose and should be reglued with high temperature cyanoacrylate glue. The other tube is exhibiting self oscillation in the radio frequency range. The outcome of this is hearing a faint “squealing” noise when there is no music if you’re using high efficiency speakers of 95dB and higher. I could ear it on my Lamhorns 1.6 and Klipsch Cornwall. I could not ear it with my Klipsch Heresy.

So these are not for everyone but if you can use these, it’s your chance to get some WE for a very reasonable price.

I bought these about 5 years ago from a guy that bought these new and never used these. I probably did put 500-600 hours on these so considering they have about 40,000 hours of life, you have a few hours left.

They do not come with the flashy wooden box.
