Wharfedale Column 8 Speaker System - Super Rare Refurbished

Further Information: Selling a beautifully restored pair of Wharfedale Column 8 speakers. My research indicates that there may be only a couple of pairs (genuine ones) in Australia. The cabinets have a glorious lustre which has to be seen to be believed and the original cloth grille material is in amazing condition. The drivers are Wharfedale Super 8's which were refurbished/tested by Atilla Tanka a couple of years before his passing. Vertically firing omnidirectional speakers really do sound amazing and solve a lot of imaging issues. You might say they fill the room with sound in the true sense. Overall measurements are 1110mm high, 359mm wide, 307mm deep. Also, a couple of notes. Wharfedale were in the habit of making alterations to their systems mid production. For example, the cones could have been either plastic or aluminium. The original drivers were 8/145's but try getting a pair of them. The Super 8's which are installed actually have a better upper frequency quality than the originals. I'll always entertain sensible offers.
